As we prepare to celebrate our centenary in December 2006, we have lined up a year-long succession of events that kicks off with a Community Day on December 3, 2005.  On this day, when thousands of valued stakeholders of SSC will be present to celebrate, we invite you to join us in paying tribute to this revered institution that has shaped and nurtured remarkable women whose pioneering work translated into the nation’s firsts: first woman Philippine President Corazon C. Aquino; first woman Supreme Court Justice Cecilia Muñoz-Palma; first woman commercial pilot Aimee Carandang; first Filipina ‘Miss Universe’ Gloria Diaz; first non-German Prioress General Mo. Irene Dabalus, OSB, and so many more among us all who have worked quietly and achieved excellence in their chosen fields.
