The Apostolate of Vigil
When physical stamina ebbs, steps slow
down, and aches and pains increase, the ministry continues, taking another form
– vigil , a caring "watch" over the younger Sisters and a
patient waiting for the Lord - no longer in
active service but a faithful sharing in suffering and a deeper union in prayer.
The priory has two
communities where sisters keep faithful "vigil" (with some younger
ones to care for them and their needs) – St. Scholastica’s Convent in Baguio
City and St. Benedict’s Home in Marikina
City.
