1.      Punctual and regular attendance in all classes is required of all students.  When absent for a good reason, a student is responsible for all assignments given during her/his absence, unless explicitly excused by the faculty member.

2.      Students' regular attendance and punctuality in all classes are expected.  Cases of absences are limited to:

n seven (7) absences for a twice-a-week class meeting - three (3) absences for a once-a-week class meeting

3.  Occasions of tardiness are recorded as follows:

n three(3) tardiness is considered as one absence.

4.   In cases where absences exceed the limit prescribed, the student is automatically dropped from the subject and given a grade or mark of FA (Failure due to Excess Absences, with zero quality point (QP = 0).

5.   Consideration in exceptional cases is given only by the respective Academic Dean in consultation with the faculty concerned, both of whom should be seen by the student.  The student may no longer drop or withdraw from the subject after the FA is earned.

6.   Final responsibility for recording student absences belongs to the faculty as reflected in the grading sheet.
