Policies and Guidelines
 

4 The Audio Visual Center or AVC facilities and materials are for the
      use of bonafide students, faculty, administration, staff of St.
      Scholastcia’s College and the Community Benedictine Sisters for
      instructional, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
 

The Audio Visual Card (for students only), duly validated for the
      current semester, is required for users.  Visiting users from SMI-IC,
      ABC, IWS and CBS are required to present referral letters.
 

All audio visual equipment and materials are to be used within the
      campus only.  Requests for the use outside the campus will be
      handled on a case-to-case basis.
 

Reservations for the use of AVC facilities are on a first-come, first-
      served basis.
 

All reservations for the use of AVC facilities and materials, and
      requests for AVC services should be made at least a day prior to
      scheduled use.
 

Request forms should be accomplished before services can be
      rendered.  Student's request should be duly signed by the
      professor/adviser.
 

All requests should be made in writing, stamped with the date
      received and signed by the staff attending to the request.  The
      request is entered into the reservation notebook.
 

Reservations could be made through phone but should be later on
      followed up and confirmed in writing.
 

Notice of cancellation of activity must be forwarded to the AVC
      Office at least one (1) day before the scheduled use.
 

In case of group borrowers for the AVC materials and facilities, the
      signatory/signatories is/are held responsible.  The borrower(s) will
      be held liable for any damage to the equipment/materials issued to
      them.  In the event of loss and/or damages, replacement in kind is
      required. 
 

Requests for the use of sound system in the Sr. Ehrentrudis Hall
      (former Little Theater), Sr. Caridad Barrion Hall, Sr. Kuniberta Hall,
      Sr. Assumpta Filser Gym, Amrhein Gallery, Maryville Hall and other
      special facilities for class/organization use are accepted only when
      the venue of the activity has been approved by the Physical Plant
      Office or the office in-charge of the place.
 

All requests for repair of equipment must be done in writing and
      approved by the AVC Head.
