The College Science and Food Laboratories envision:

1.      an authentic-revitalizing and transforming research-oriented Science and Food Laboratories where Christian virtues and Benedictine values are manifested in the organization, operation and management of the Laboratories; and

2.      an effective and efficient delivery of services to Science and Food Laboratory classes and to the institution as well, that reaffirm our interconnectedness, recognizes and enhances academic competence in Science, Food and Technology and pursue social responsibility.

With these two goals in mind, the College Science and Food Laboratories hope to: 

1.      renew the sense of moral responsibility, accountability and intellectual honesty among the Faculty, Staff and Students of the Science and Food Laboratories;

2.      provide and create a laboratory environment that affirm one's interconnectedness with all beings and which urges one to engage in earth-friendly actions and activities;

3.      offer technical assistance that can enhance academic knowledge and skills;

4.      effectively manage time and tasks allowing concurrent and/or overlapping tasks to' be done simultaneously;

5.      provide scientific venues where students, staff and faculty can reaffirm the strong resolve to create a culture of peace and non-violence and help shape the community and the world based on justice, solidarity, liberty, dignity, harmony and prosperity for all.
