       How to Take a Test                                                Grade School

1.  Set your purpose for taking the test.

2.   Clear your desks and tables before starting the test except for your writing materials such as pencils, pen, rulers, slant lines, a piece of paper to cover your work and clean sheets for computation.

3.    Listen to all instructions to be given by the teacher or test proctor.
 a. Read all directions silently.
 b. Ask all necessary questions to understand points that are not yet clear
to you.

4.   Go to your assigned place and sit comfortably to keep posture necessary for good and legible penmanship.

5.   Work independently and in silence. Ask questions only from the teacher or the test proctor.

6.   Answer the test questions intelligently.

7.   Review once more before submitting finished test paper.

8.   Submit finished work to the teacher/test proctor and return to your place.

9.   Remain quiet until everybody is through. Ask permission to do other work silently.
