Rationale
The Graduate Programs of
Franchise Management have been developed to answer the growing
demands of the industry sector for capable franchise executives.
The popularity of franchising as an alternative means of entry or
expansion of an existing business enterprise has catapulted this
industry into one of the fastest growing sector since 1980's.
The program is presented in
a ladderized format to maximize the required competencies in each
level in a compressed time frame.

Franchise Operations: At the end of the program, the students
are able
to:
- develop business plan
- execute business operations
- identify franchisor-franchisee relationships in
relation to operations
- become aware of the legal aspects in franchising

Graduate Diploma in Franchise
Management: At the end of the program, the students are able
to:
- develop marketing plan
- apply strategic market decision to franchise
companies
- understand financial statement, interpretation and
analysis of balance sheets, income
statements, cash flow statements and other
accounting documents
- know the role and meet the challenges within the
management of human resources

Management: At the end of the program, the students are able to:
- formulate and implement franchise organizational
strategies and policies
- formulate research problems and relate it to real
life franchise operations and management
- develop and implement research projects
- formulate alternative strategic options and address
the challenges of implementation
- provide timely and effective decisions

Franchise Management: At the end of the program, the students

- design and implement series of studies which address
significant issues
- engage in scholarly activities that will contribute
