To facilitate the smooth flow of the learning process, the student is expected to observe the following procedures:

1.  Attendance

a.   Regular and punctual attendance of classes and assemblies are required of all students.

b.   A student who has been absent must present to the Coordinator of Student Affairs a letter of excuse written and signed by her parents or guardian. This must have the inclusive date(s) of and reason(s) for the absence. Students may not be admitted to class without an absence slip duly signed by the Coordinator of Student Affairs (CSA).

c.   The CSA shall determine whether or not an' absence is excused.

d.   No student may be excused from long tests, quizzes, seat works or any other work assigned during her absence without validation from the CSA.

e.   For absences due to serious illness or conditions beyond the control of the student, the foregoing rules may be abrogated at the discretion of the CSA with the approval of the Principal.

f.    In case of absence due to illness, a medical certificate should accompany the excuse letter presented. This medical certificate must be submitted within three days of student's return to class. Medical certificates submitted after three days will not be considered valid, and the absentee will not be officially excused from the work she has missed.

g.   No student, regardless of the quality of her work, receives credit for the subjects or subject from which she has been absent for more than 20% of the total number of class hours for the school year.

h.   In the following cases, the student must secure the appropriate form/admission slip from the CSA's office in order to enter her class. Forms must be duly signed by the CSA and then submitted to the subject teacher or class Vice-President:

h.1  Tardiness - this includes tardiness in the morning, after recess and lunch break or between periods. Three counts of unexcused tardiness also warrant disciplinary sanction.

h.2  Incomplete and improper use of uniform

h.3  Post-clinic visit - A student who has been advised by the school doctor or nurse to rest in the clinic or has simply gone to the clinic for medication must present the slip issued by the clinic to the CSA before securing the admission slip which will allow her to re-enter her class.

h.4  ID confiscation

h.5  Confiscation of banned items

2.   Saturday classes are considered regular days, and as such will be given equal value.

3.   Students are expected to be equipped with all the school materials they need for the different subjects. Borrowing from others is greatly discouraged. Students are enjoined to take proper care of their things and to respect the things of others.

4.   Students are not allowed to bring/use walkmans, stuffed toys, Swiss knives, pillows, magazines and other materials not necessary for school work. These items are subject to confiscation.

5.   Guidelines for the use of Pagers and Mobile Phones:

a.   Pagers and mobile phones must be declared to the CSA before hand through a letter or reply slip signed by the parent or guardian.

b.   While students are in campus, pager must not be visible and at all times be on VIBRATE MODE.

c.   Messages may only be retrieved during RECESS, LUNCH BREAK BEFORE THE FIRST PERIOD and AFTER THE LAST PERIOD

d.   During long tests and periodic exams, pagers MUST BE SURRENDERED to the teacher/proctor.

e.   Mobile phones must be surrendered to the CSA's office before 7:45am.  Phone calls may be made or received only during break periods and before and after classes. Students should refrain from making/receiving calls while walking around the campus.

f.   The school will not be held responsible for the loss of pagers and mobile phones.

6.   Eating is not allowed in the classrooms, special rooms and corridors of the high school buildings. Only the areas designated as eating areas by the Project Earth may be used for this purpose.

7.   Students may not stay inside the classrooms during the lunch break or after classes without special permission or prior arrangement with the CSA's office. Students, however, may return to the classroom ten minutes before the fifth period.

8.   Students are expected to maintain order and proper decorum in the classroom, whether or not there is a teacher.  In the case where a teacher is absent, the class officers are responsible for the behavior of the class for facilitating the seatwork, if and when provided.

9.   A student who wishes to leave the room must ask for permission from the teacher. In the absence of the teacher, permission should be secured from the Class President or other class officers. In such cases where the teacher is absent, no more than two (2) students at a time may be granted permission to leave.

10. A student who is not feeling well may obtain permission from the teacher to go to the school clinic. The school nurse gives the student a confirmation slip for the CSA who in turn issues an admission slip. If the student is too ill to return to class, the school clinic issues a slip recommending that she go home. This is submitted to the CSA who then issues the student a permit to leave.

11. Students are not allowed to leave their class to make phone calls during class hours.

12. A student who is called by her guidance counselor for conference is given a slip which must be presented to the subject teacher before and after the conference.

13. Parents who wish to call or get their daughter(s) from the classroom need the permission of the Principal. A gate pass will be issued by the CSA.

14. Students who do not cooperate or comply with ordinary classroom procedure will be subject to disciplinary action.

15. Clearance will be required at the end of the school year for annual subjects.
