Grounds for Impeachment

Any of the following are grounds for the impeachment of any student leader:

1.  inability to perform her duties

2.  failure for two consecutive quarters

3.  disciplinary cases

Composition of the Impeachment Committee

1.  SCO President

2.  Year-level Representative

3.  Adviser/Moderator of the student involved

4.  Coordinator of Student Affairs

In cases where the SCO President is the aggrieved party in a complaint, a representative chosen by the student body, approved by the Impeachment Committee will take her place in the Committee.

In cases where the year level representative is the aggrieved party, the Impeachment Committee will decide on who will take her place in the Committee.

Procedure

1.   The aggrieved party must present a formal complaint to the Coordinator for Student  Affairs (CSA)

2.   The CSA convenes the Committee and presents the case

3.   The case must be delivered in the presence of the aggrieved party and the candidate for impeachment and her representative

4.   After a thorough deliberation on the case, the Impeachment Committee will decide on the case

Vacancies in any Position

If an officer resigns for any reason, or after due process is relieved of her office, an officer-in-charge takes over until an election is held to fill her position.
