Daily Uniform
4. plain black, closed, low-heeled leather shoes and plain white socks worn two to three inches above the ankle-bone 5. identification card (ID) which is placed on the chest strap of the blue skirt AT ALL TIMES while the student is within the school premises 6. items other than those mentioned, like bangles, trinkets, multiple earrings and expensive jewelry are not part of the uniform and should not be worn. These will be confiscated. Any confiscated item must be surrendered to the Coordinator of Student Affairs (CSA) immediately. Only a simple watch and small pair of earrings touching the earlobes are allowed. The P.E. UniformThe P.E. uniform consists of:
1. P.E. t-shirt
as prescribed by SSC, specifically, a dominantly white t-shirt The Gala UniformThe Gala Uniform is worn on official special occasions. It should follow the official pattern. 1. Hem-line must be no longer than mid-calf. 2. It must be worn with white, cream or beige undergarments, skin-toned stockings and ecru pumps with at least 1inch heels. Flat shoes and opentoed or open-heeled shoes are not allowed. 3. The Gala Uniform must not be worn as a costume for any class or school production without special, express permission form the Principal. Neither may it be worn during non-school functions. The High School Uniform may be worn outside SSC only for official functions and delegations. The use of this uniform is strictly forbidden during games, at the movies etc., unless permission is given by the school. Grooming1. Students are expected to be neat in appearance at all times. 2. Students are not allowed to wear cosmetics. 3. Nails should be kept short. Only colorless nail polish may be used if desired. 4. Hair must be neatly combed. Hair styles and accessories must be simple. This means no colored streaks, and obviously dyed or tinted hair. Hair accessories must be appropriate and in navy blue, black or white colors only. Student Identification1. Students are required to wear their Identification Cards for as long as they are within school premises. 2. IDs should be kept free of stickers, non-regulation pins or clips. 3. Students who are caught using the 10 of another student will be meted the appropriate sanction. 4. A student who forgets or loses her ID may secure a temporary 10 from the CSA's office after submitting a letter written and signed by the parent. In the case where the ID was lost in school, the letter is written and signed by the student herself. The temporary ID must be worn at all times while inside the campus. No temporary ID may be used beyond ONE (1) day unless specified in writing by the CSA. A lost or confiscated ID card may be replaced or returned upon presentation of a letter written and signed by the parent to the CSA, stating the reasons for loss or confiscation. A student whose ID was confiscated must immediately secure an admission slip from the CSA. |
