The Junior Restaurateur and Hoteliers Association (JRHA) held its organization week last January 22-24 and 26, 2007.  The first three days were full of bazaars, seminars and other activities heartily dedicated to the JRHA members.   It was a chance for the JRHA Executive Board to give its members their money’s worth in joining and supporting the organization.

The celebration began with an early Blessing and Thanksgiving Mass at theS ocial Hall.  A ribbon cutting for a small but informative and interactive exhibit shortly followed.   A series of seminars, game and

cooking shows followed throughout the next couple of days: Career Talk, Organic Food Awareness and Appreciation, Decorative Carving Demo, Jr. Henyo Quiz Bee and a Cooking Show by a T.V. station’s Ka-Toque that became a highlight even for non-members of the org.  All these, with the support of junior helpers as O.I.C.’s for the events were prepared to impart applicable knowledge and skills to the JRHA members.

The week ended with a concert bash for the members featuring remarkable amateur bands and the impressive Itchyworms.  A bazaar and cake-raffle was managed through-out that week for fundraising purposes.  Over 50 grand cakes from Goldilocks, Red Ribbon, Monarisa and other sponsors were raffled to the winners on January 26, marking the official closing of the celebration.  The JRHA members had a great time, knowing in their minds and hearts that the JRHA is not just any other school organization: it is an entity soulfully dedicated to serve its members.
