SSC Centennial Singing Idol for students launched

Due to the success of the recently concluded SSC Centennial Singing Idol held last August 11, 2006, the SSC Centennial Committee and Junior Association of Management (JAM), organized SSC Centennial Singing Idol – Students’ Edition. 

Contestants of the search shall consist of SSC students aged 13 and above.  Ten (10) contestants will be chosen for the elimination round to be held on November 17, 2006.  Should there be more than ten applicants, the sub-committee will hold the pre-qualifying audition to choose the ten final elimination round contestants.  Application for the contest should be submitted on or before September 30, 2006 to the committees.  Each contestant will choose his/her own song.  The song should have been performed and recorded by local artists.  There will be at least three judges who will choose the five finalists for the December 3, 2006 final competition. 

Application forms are available at the JAM Organization Office.  Interested applicants may also see the following Unit Coordinators: Ms. Darlene Chan of the High School unit, Mr. Ramon Mañalac for the College unit and Ms. Vernadine Baritua of JAM.
