Last Oct 7, 2006 the Juniors of the High School Unit had their most awaited Shakespearean Festival.  This is one of the year level's major integration, spearheaded by the Literature and Music areas.  Every year, the Juniors showcase eight of William Shakespeare's masterpieces, 4 tragedies and 4 comedies: Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, King Lear for the tragedies; and Taming of the Shrew, Merchant of Venice, As You Like It and Much Ado About Nothing for the comedies.  The classes have edited scripts, composed arias and created production numbers for their play while juggling with their academics for the

second quarter. Even the class advisers had cameo roles in their respective plays. The winners of the Festival were the following: Third Best Play: Macbeth (Year III-Humility); Second Best Play: As You Like It (Involvement); Best Play: Much Ado about Nothing (Year III-Assertiveness).

Other special awards were given like Best Performers and Best Supporting Performers (male and female roles), Best Script Adaptation, Best Technical Effects, Best Musical Scoring, and the Best Production Numbers (both for tragedy and comedy).
