
Prof. Rosa Maria Tapang-Feliciano is a Lecturer at St. Scholasticas’s College for almost 15 years now. She is a full-time faculty member of the University of the Philippines Diliman and the present Chair of the Broadcast Communication Department, College of Mass Communication. Prof. Feliciano has taught in UP for 17 years, starting off as a Lecturer and now as Associate Professor 2. She has been the department chair for three terms (from 1997-2006), and concurrently holds the position of Station Manager of DZUP-AM from 1997 to present.
Aside from her college academic involvement, Prof. has been elected as member of the following university committees: Instruction Committee, Curriculum Committee, and Committee on University Governance and Administration.
Prof. Feliciano is the official representative of DZUP to the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) and is an active Board Member of the KBP Standards Authority. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of PITAK, the official newsletter of the Kidney Transplant Association of the Philippines, and the Treasurer of the International Foundation for Organ Transplant, Inc. Prof. Feliciano is a kidney transplant survivor.
She is married to Luis Feliciano and has three stepsons: Lester, Jorge, and Francis.
