An Overview Being a Catholic College, St. Scholastica’s College holds theology as the core of its liberal arts curriculum. Since theology is a constant process of interpretation and discovery based on human experience and Judaeo-Christian Tradition, the theology department aims to educate and form students so that they may become agents of God’s presence towards the transformation of our society. The ongoing conversation of theology with the contemporary world calls for a new understanding of salvation, which pays attention to the signs of the time, culture and traditions of people. Hence, SSC theology department stimulates students to embody a life-style of Christian reflection and action (“ora et labora”) in order to build a transforming community of just peace!
