High School faculty works as a team

Last May 29, the HS Faculty of SSC, Manila traveled all the way to St. Scholastica’s Academy San Fernando to hold the first ever faculty outdoor education and team building sponsored by the PEHM Area. The activity was facilitated by the Center for Outdoor Recreation and Education headed by Mr. Mikey Alcaraz. There were eight color coded patrols represented by the respective patrol leaders. The morning session focused on survival skills such as orienteering, knot tying, first aid, fire building and survival cooking and tent pitching. The afternoon consisted of 8 team building stations where all the eight patrols simultaneously did the challenges in rotation. It was a memorable and fun experience as expressed by the teachers. The winners were announced during the faculty general assembly last June 6. Third place went to patrol yellow, patrols red and orange got 2^nd place and over-all winner was awarded to patrol green.
