College Recruitment Week 101

This year’s College Recruitment Week celebration, which was held last July 2-4, 2008 was quite different from the previous years.  The Council of Leaders (COLS) decided to use their respective cubicles at the Organization’s Office instead of having it at the Social Hall.  The reason for this is because they would want the students, especially the first year students to become familiar with the location of the organization offices.  Each organization prepared their respective cubicles and organized different gimmicks to attract recruits.  During the closing program which was held at the Sr. Kuniberta Hall, awards were given to different organizations for their performance during the Recruitment Week.  The Junior Association of Management (JAM) bagged the Best Recruiter award, Best Booth for Academics went to the Junior Hotelier Association (Jr. HA), Best Booth for Interest was awarded to the Christian Community Development (CCD) and the Cleanest Org Booth went to the Congregatio Pro Vita Scientia (CVS).  The Organization Presidents and the Student Council President prepared a simple dance number to cap the three day event.
