"A Nation in Crisis ... Is there Hope?"

The Benedictines for Peace, the Socio Pastoral Apostolate together with justice and peace advocacy groups will hold a forum on the state of the nation on July 25, 2008 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the Sr. Kuniberta Hall.  The theme of the forum is "A Nation in Crisis ... Is there Hope?".  The activity will serve as a venue for the youth, religious, educators and concerned citizens to pray, study and act together in response to the pressing issues of our times.

Resource persons will be invited to share with the Scholastican community the facts and figures regarding the present state of the nation.  The main objective of the event is to properly inform the faculty, students, staff, alumnae, and parents of SSC and be able to reach out to others for future education and advocacy campaigns.
