The last day of the President's Cup consisted of the cheering competition and awarding of trophies and medals to the winning teams for the sports events of basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and badminton.  This event took place at the Sr. Assumpta Filser Gymnasium last December 4, 2008 from 3:00 to 5:00pm.

The program started with a prayer led by the ICMO Head, Sr. Angeline Arceo, OSB.  This was followed by the welcome remarks of the school president, Sr. M. Angelica Leviste, OSB.  The SSC mascot, Ten-Ten acted as guest emcee and assisted Ms. Lucris Paraan in announcing the program events.

The highlight of the event was the cheering competition prepared by each participating team.  The first team to show their talent and high energy was the Green Team (Grade School Unit).  The team's performance was applauded by their co-teachers and students who were in high spirits during the show.

The Red Team (College Unit) was next to perform.  The team brought the house down with their superb performance of medley dance numbers.  The Academic Deans, together with the Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Sr. Mary Thomas Prado, OSB and College Unit administrators joined the well applauded presentation.

The White Team's (High School Unit) upbeat dance routine and moves added more cheers and festive atmosphere to the occasion as they were supported and cheered by their colleagues and students.

The last but not the least to perform was the Blue Team (Institutional).  The team was composed of office/professional and general services personnel representing the different institutional offices of the school.  The event gave the personnel the opportunity to showcase their creativity and talents in dancing.

The teams perfected their routines under the direction of their coaches and choreographers and swept this year's President's Cup with more excitement and enthusiasm.

Three guest judges were invited to select this year's cheerdance competition winners.  They were Ms. Precy Tuazon, PUP cheerdance choreographer, member of the Cheerleading Philippines and coach of the PUP Pep Squad; Ms. Tammy de Guzman, cheerdance choreographer, a former National Team Gymnast, currently Head Coach of IS Gymnastics, and Coach of the Philippine Gymnastics Team; and Ms. Louise Macul, an oblate from America and a dance major at the University of Wisconsin, U.S.A.

The winners for the cheering competition were the Red Team (Champion) and Green Team (First Runner Up)

The Red Team (College Unit) was also declared as the overall champion of this year's President's Cup.  They also bagged the Basketball and Table Tennis championship titles.
