SSC security personnel attend day-long retreat

Every year SSC sponsors a half-day recollection for its Security Personnel for their spiritual needs.  This time around, before the opening of classes, all SSC Security Personnel attended a whole day retreat last June 7, 2009, at St. Michael Building Conference Room.  

The topic of the retreat was to know more about oneself and our Creator.  A team called “Hand of the Sewer” composed of Bro. Odie Romance, Bro. Ruel Polancos and Bro. Roland Banting expounded the meaning of LOVE and LIFE with particular focus on one's relationship with God and the Community.

Through the recollection, the retreatants were able to discover that their lives have been enriched with God's gifts and overflowing of graces.  They also realized their growth experiences and the most important person in their life.

Each one was given time to share particularly his/her life experiences with the group.  The spiritual songs and dances taught by Bro. Odie made the participants alert, alive and awake the whole day. 

The retreat ended with the celebration of a Holy Mass officiated by Fr. Anselm Manalastas, OSB.
