SSC News and Events

Please take note that the SSC Ballet Program is accredited as a club offering of St. Scholastica's College's Grade School Unit. Students enrolled in this program are automatically club members of the Grade School Ballet Club. The Grade School students are allowed to have the Ballet Club as their second club as it is a special program of SSC-Manila.

Schedule: Every Saturdays starting July 7, 2009
Venue    : Dance Hall, 4th Floor, St. Otillien Building of SSC-Manila
Time      : 8:00-9:15 A.M. - Group A (ages 4 – 7 yrs. old)
                                        - Group B (ages 8 - 11 yrs. old; without ballet background)
                                        - Group C (ages 8 - 11 yrs. old; summer ballet students 2009)

                 9:15-10:30 A.M.- former ballet club members and students with ballet backgrounds
                                           ( 7-11 yrs. old)
                                         - Students with no little or no ballet background (ages 12-16 yrs.
                                           old)

                10:30-12:00 noon - Junior and Senior students
                                             Group A Level 2 / Group B Level 3 / Group C Level 4 ACB level

                Tuesday schedule : 4:30-5:30 P.M. / 5:30-7:00 P.M. for Students on Pre-Pointe and
                                             Pointe classes only (Students who are in the Junior and Senior
                                             levels are recommended to take twice a week classes)

Enrollment , registration, uniform measurements and level assessment will be on July 4, 2009 between 10:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. at the Dance Hall located at the 4th floor, St. Otillien Building of SSC-Manila.

Note: New students are requested to come in play clothes and hair neatly tied in a bun on the first day of classes. Old members of the SSC Ballet Club are requested to wear their complete club uniform. Fees are at Php1,500.00 per month for once a week classes and Php2,500.00 for twice a week classes. Enrollment on a monthly basis is also allowed. Please make your payment to the SSC Business Office. Registration and enrollment is open throughout the school year. The fee for complete ballet uniform and shoes is Php1,900.00, which is paid directly to the ballet teacher.

                                   Hongkong Ballet Study Tour sometime in October 2009
                                    Dance Festival in coordination with the Association of Ballet
                                    Academies, Philippines in August and November
                                   2009-2010 Ballet Recital
