TFSS invites Pedicab Operators/Drivers for a Dialogue

       All pedicab operators and drivers were invited for a dialogue with the Tasf Force Safe School (TFSS) Safety & Security Group to discuss safety and security concerns of students taking pedicabs. Together with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Brgy Chairmen and the Manila Traffic & Parking Bureau (MTPB), the following measures and conditions were agreed upon, to take effect immediately:

 

    • Regular fare during fine weather is Php20/rider, with an additional Php10.00 during rainy days.
    • All pedicabs must follow the traffic flow.
    • TFSS IDs must be validated with the TFSS Safety & Security Group c/o DLS-CBS.
    • All drivers must wear their color-coded T-shirts and TFSS ID.
    • The three (3) TFSS member-schools will orient all the students to take ONLY pedicabs with TFSS Stickers and IDs.
    • All colorum pedicabs will be monitored by the PNP and will be meted out proper action.
    • Peace and order must be maintained in all Pedicab Terminals.
    • The Brgy Chairmen will release a new list of all pedicab operators and drivers who pass set clearance guidelines/will be cleared by them this school year.
    • The MTPB will identify and monitor pedicabs without permits to operate from the City Hall.
    • Every sector - the schools, PNP, Brgy Officials, and MTPB are one in the aim to keep our Community peaceful and orderly.
