The Master of Science in Accountancy and Master of Business in
Business Management are graduate programs prepared to meet the
challenges of the 21st century. These
were designed to train individuals to become leaders in the fields
of business and accountancy. From this carefully crafted
progression of four intensive semesters of exposing the students to
theoretical and empirical studies, they are expected to emerge with
skills and concepts that will serve them for life, no matter what
career they choose, be it in the academe or industry.
OBJECTIVES
The MSA and MBBM programs aim to:
-
develop
high-caliber and socially responsible leaders in the fields of
business and accountancy;
-
develop
in the graduates both advanced technical competency in accounting
and a broader understanding of business concepts and principles;
and
-
equip
individuals with a broad and extensive training in research and
education for the further enhancement of these areas.
FOUNDATION REQUIREMENTS
The Master of Science in Accountancy and Master of Business in
Business Management programs are designed for students with
undergraduate degrees in business or accountancy. Students entering
the program are presumed to have basic knowledge of all functional
areas of accounting (financial accounting, managerial accounting,
business law and taxation, and auditing) and related business
disciplines (finance, economics, management, and information
systems), as well as a general background in match, statistics and
computer methods.

an undergraduate degree in business or accounting will need to make
up any deficiencies in their educational background. With no
business background a student can complete deficiency courses within
one year. A list of required areas of study prior to entering the
MSA and MBBM programs are provided below. Students who have not
fulfilled these prerequisites in their undergraduate training should
consult with the program advisor to plan a course of study before
