SSC students will once again bring pride and honor to their school as they take part in the Southeast Asian Youth Orchestra and Wind Ensemble (SAYOWE) to be held in Mahidol University, Salaya, Thailand from October 1-10, 2005.

Last August 4-5, 2005, six of our students underwent competitive audition for the coveted slots held at the University of Santo Tomas and University of the Philippines, respectively.  Juris Lanutis, cellist from Latvia and juror of the said audition, commended the performance of our students.  His impression was confirmed when the results came out.  Music student Antoni Josef Inacay was chosen as the principal cellist of the SAYOWE.  Violinists Joseph Brian Cimafranca and Sara Maria Gonzales, cellist Giancarlo Gonzales and High School flutist Gaille Marie Olivia Ramos were also chosen by the organizing body.

Congratulations to Antoni Josef, Joseph Brian, Sara Maria, Giancarlo and Gaille Marie.  Your Scholastican community wishes you Godspeed!
