Another First: CWC Career Fair 2005

The Presidents of the five (5) CWC member schools signing the contract with the representatives of major sponsors 

It is a first for the Consortium of Women's Colleges. 

The Consortium of Women's Colleges, composed of Assumption College, College of the Holy Spirit of Manila, Miriam College, St. Paul University Quezon City and
St. Scholastica's College Manila will be holding its first joint Career Fair on February 21-22, 2005 at the
Glorietta Activity Center.

On January 25 was the contract signing between the five (5) College Presidents and the major sponsors of the event - JobsDB.com and The Philippine Daily Inquirer. The contract signing was held at the Assumption College witnessed by the Placement Officers of each school and with other major sponsors - Accenture, Convergys Corporation and the official media partner, ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation.

Aside from the Career Fair, the Admissions Officers of each school will be marketing their respective schools to attract potential applicants for their undergraduate and graduate courses. This activity will provide optimum visibility and marketing opportunity for the schools.

The business community can look forward to the activities during the Career Fair such as On-site Recruitment, Career Talks and Interaction with the graduating students and third year students looking for practicum. n
